What’s up everybody! Back again with another places to visit blog! This time it’s going to be a popular city in Korea located in the southern regions called Busan. Famous for its beaches, mountains, and temples, Busan attracts all who want to have fun and rejuvenate at the same time. Here are a couple of places that are pretty popular.


Haeundae Beach (해운대)

Haeundae Beach is really well-known in Korea. Many travelers visit for leisure, swimming, or just a breath of fresh air. The place calms you down and relieves you of all the stress that’s been stacking. There are plenty of accommodations near the beach, ranging from luxurious hotels to guesthouses, so you’ll always have an option when finding a place to stay for the night. Haeundae Beach is especially famous for its various events that are held during the year from sandcastle contests to K-pop events. Street performers and musicians come out in the evening to make the place romantic during the night time.


Gamcheon Culture Village (감천문화마을)

This culture filled village is a group of houses formed in an image of a staircase and it is located at the base of a mountain. There are endless alleyways full of murals and other forms of art decorated on the walls of the houses. The place actually reminds you of Santorini, Greece due to all the colorful houses stacked together. In order to get to Gamcheon Village, you do have to go on quite a hike since it’s on a mountain. So keep that in mind before you venture to this cultural paradise.


Gukje Market (국제시장)

Known as one of the largest markets in Korea, Gukje Market is a place where you can find practically anything that you want to purchase. It’s filled with alleyways that lead to other markets, such as Bupyeong Market and Kkangtong Market. It’s popular amongst foreign travelers as wells as Koreans.


Oryukdo Skywalk (오륙도 스카이워크)

Oryukdo Skywalk is a glass bridge that extends out to about 15 meters from Seungdumal, which is a word meaning the border between the East and South Sea. You can view the coast and the waves right through the glass that you’re standing on. But don’t worry, it’s totally safe because the skywalk is made with 48mm thick glass plates that are coated with a bulletproof material. It’s totally free to use the skywalk for however long you desire and it makes for a pretty amazing photo opportunity for your Instagram.


Haedong Yonggungsa (해동 용궁사)

This place is a Buddhist temple located right on the coast outside of the main city in Busan. It’s a perfect place to watch the view of nature as well as the beautiful architecture of the temple. It’s an extremely popular tourist attraction, especially during holidays, so we recommend going preferably a few days before or after.


Taejongdae Resort Park (태종대 유원지)

Being one of the main tourist spots in Busan, Taejongdae Resort Park is most famous for its rocky beach. The name Taejongdae was derived from the King Taejong, who was the 29th King during the Silla Kingdom. He loved to go out and come to this beach to shoot arrows in his leisure time. You won’t however, see anyone shoot arrows now, so just relax and enjoy the scenic view.


Beomeosa Temple (범어사)

Beomeosa Temple is another famous Buddhist temple that you can visit in Busan. The land is peaceful and great for you to make memories. This temple is known to be a natural monument surrounded by woods and valleys, giving you a peaceful atmosphere that soothes your mind.
